Baby Wellness

Your child's well-being is the focus

Our commitment

A newborn child. Life begins. The first trip to home, the first strolls, the first incredible achievements.

Witnessing these moments represents the essence of our work at Inglesina and it gives profound meaning to the responsibility that is entrusted to us.

That is why we commit to providing products and solutions that ensure an extraordinary well-being of the children, during their journey to discover the world.

Our 7 principles

In cooperation with Baby Wellness Foundation

A wellness-oriented culture means fostering physical and psychological harmony for every child. Together with the Baby Wellness Foundation we support and promote this culture in everything we do. Through in-depth studies and research in cooperation with experts in the field, seven core principles were identified that encompass all the major aspects for the proper growth and well-being of the child.

their well-being begins long before birth

their best nourishment right from the start

a good
bedtime

health, the most precious commodity

loving care and
attention

the harmonious development of the child

choosing early childhood products correctly

Set up at the initiative of L’Inglesina Baby S.p.A., the foundation brings together various professionals linked to the world of early childhood. Midwives, doctors, experts in the field, all passionate about the world of children. Through study and technical-scientific research, we deepen our knowledge of children’s needs with a focus on the first months of life in order to disseminate it to as wide an audience as possible: the professional community, early childhood professionals, new parents.

The great Carrycot
During the first months of life, the infant's bone and muscle structure is still fragile. The lying, supine position makes it possible not to overload any part of the body, with an even distribution of the baby's weight. Experts recommend prolonging pram use to at least 6 months

Welcome Pad®
At birth, the newborn abandons the safety of the mum's womb to face the outside world: moving from a muffled and contained space to a boundless and dispersive one. To assist them in this transition, it is important to make them feel protected and collected, offering them an environment that is able to protect them both physically and emotionally.

Stand-up
Sleep is crucial for the activation of physiological processes and mechanisms that are indispensable for the harmonious growth and development of the baby. That is why it is important to ensure the best possible conditions to facilitate healthy rest and uninterrupted sleep.

Darwin Infant Recline
The infant's respiratory system is immature and their breathing is diaphragmatic. The supine position facilitates breathing and allows the head not to overload the neck muscles.

Adapter and bamboo head hugger
Natural fibres such as cotton and bamboo allow good permeability and facilitate the evaporation of moisture that forms at the areas of increased perspiration.

All Season seat
In the first few months, the baby does not yet have the capacity to make full use of the thermoregulation centres, namely they are not yet able to regulate their temperature in response to environments that are too cold or too hot. In particular, high temperatures with high humidity are the conditions of greatest distress for the baby.
