2. Effectiveness of the General Terms and Conditions

These GTC are published on the Website and may be viewed by the Customer at any time, before and during the order process. They must be expressly accepted in order to proceed with the order.

In addition to these GTC, specific conditions may apply to certain Products, for example in the case of special promotions, where this is expressly indicated in relation to the relevant Product.

Inglesina reserves the right to amend these GTC at any time. Any new provisions shall become effective from the time they are published on the Website and shall apply to sales made after their publication.

Inglesina invites the Customer to read these GTC carefully before making any purchase through the Website.

The Customer declares that he or she has the legal capacity to accept these GTC and proceed with the purchase.

3. Orders

To purchase a Product, the Customer must create an account or personal profile on the Website by entering his or her personal data. Access to the account takes place by entering the Customer’s e-mail address: the Customer will receive an OTP code at the indicated e-mail address, which must be entered on the Website to complete authentication.

For further information on the processing of personal data carried out by Inglesina, the Customer is invited to consult the Privacy Policy available on the Website. If the Customer believes that his or her rights relating to the processing of personal data have been infringed, the Customer may contact the competent supervisory authority for personal data protection in the Republic of Finland, the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman:
https://tietosuoja.fi/en/home

Further information about the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman and its services is also available on the official Finnish public services portal:

The access code is temporary, valid for 15 minutes, and strictly personal. The Customer undertakes to keep confidential the OTP code received by e-mail and to protect access to his or her e-mail inbox. Within the limits provided for by applicable law, Inglesina may not be held liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by fraudulent access to the account, compromise of the Customer’s e-mail inbox, or the Customer’s inability to access the Account or the Website for reasons not attributable to Inglesina.

The Customer assumes responsibility for the truthfulness and accuracy of the personal data communicated to Inglesina, both during registration and during completion of the order.

The Customer may select on the Website the Products he or she wishes to purchase, which will be added to the shopping cart. The contents of the shopping cart may be amended or removed by clicking the relevant buttons.

If a Product is not available, Inglesina will provide this information on the Website page containing the description of the Product and, in any event, before the Customer makes payment.

Before completing the order, the Customer will be shown the list of selected Products, the purchase price of each Product including VAT, shipping costs including VAT, the payment method, and the delivery method and timing.

Before purchasing the Products, the Customer is required to provide all necessary information and to carefully read and accept the GTC, the Website Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy by ticking the relevant boxes in the purchase form. The Customer may print or save an electronic copy of these GTC, the Website Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

By clicking “Complete your order”, the Customer places a final order with an obligation to pay for the Products contained in the shopping cart.

After submitting the order, the Customer will receive the Order Receipt Confirmation by e-mail, containing the following information: a summary of the purchased Products, including their main characteristics, the purchase price and any shipping costs, including taxes, the payment method, and the delivery method and timing. This document will also contain a copy of these GTC, including Inglesina’s tax details, a copy of the Website Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy.

Acceptance of the order by Inglesina consists of the sending of an e-mail confirming that the order has been shipped, namely the shipping confirmation.

In the case of payment by credit card, the sales agreement shall be deemed concluded when the credit card is charged. In the case of payment through PayPal or Scalapay, the agreement shall be deemed concluded when the Customer confirms the payment on the PayPal or Scalapay website.

The Products shown on the Website are available while stocks last. If a Product, although selectable, is out of stock, Inglesina will promptly notify the Customer. In such case, Inglesina will cancel the order and any amount paid by the Customer will be promptly refunded.

Inglesina may decide not to accept purchase orders submitted by the Customer if sufficient guarantees of solvency are not provided or if the data provided by the Customer are incomplete or incorrect. In such cases, Inglesina will inform the Customer by e-mail that the contract has not been concluded, indicating the reasons why the order could not be processed.

4. Price

Product prices are stated on the Website in euros and include taxes. Any applicable delivery and/or shipping costs are clearly indicated before the Contract is concluded and are shown in the Order Receipt Confirmation.

If a promotion or price has a limited period of validity, or if an offer is subject to conditions, this is clearly indicated on the Website in relation to the relevant Product.

Any announcement of a price reduction clearly indicates the previous price applied by Inglesina. The previous price means the lowest price indicated by Inglesina on the Website for the relevant Product during a period of not less than 30 days before the application of the price reduction.

5. Transport and Delivery of Goods

The Products will be delivered by courier to the territory indicated as available for delivery on the Website and during the order process. If delivery to the Republic of Finland is available, the delivery conditions shown to the Customer before completion of the order shall apply.

Delivery of the purchased Products will be made to the delivery address provided by the Customer in the order, within 30 days from the date on which the order was placed, unless a different delivery term is clearly indicated before purchase.

Delivery shall be deemed completed when the goods are collected by the Customer or by a third party designated by the Customer at the delivery address provided by the Customer in the order or subsequently agreed directly with the courier.

If delivery is delayed beyond 30 days from the date on which the order was placed, Inglesina will promptly notify the Customer, and the Parties may agree on a new delivery deadline. Failing this, the Customer shall have the right to immediately terminate the Contract by sending an e-mail to ecommerce.it@inglesina.com. The amount paid will be refunded without undue delay.

Ownership of the purchased Products transfers to the Customer when Inglesina receives full payment of all amounts due, while the risk of loss of or damage to the purchased Products transfers to the Customer only upon delivery of the Products.

6. Legal Guarantee of Conformity

Inglesina guarantees that each Product purchased on the Website conforms to the Contract pursuant to Articles 129 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, and in particular that it:

  • corresponds to the contractual description, type, quantity and quality, and has the functionality and compatibility provided for in the Contract;

  • is suitable for the use for which it was designed, for the purposes for which products of the same type are normally used, and for any particular use desired by the Customer, provided that the Customer informed Inglesina of such particular use before conclusion of the Contract and Inglesina accepted such use in writing;

  • complies with the European regulation on general product safety, as well as with any applicable national and European statutory provisions and technical standards;

  • is supplied with all accessories provided for in the Contract and with the instruction manual, where applicable;

  • in the case of goods with digital elements, is supplied with the updates necessary to maintain the conformity of the goods for the period of time that the Customer may reasonably expect, considering the type and purpose of the goods purchased.

Inglesina guarantees that during and at the end of the production process, each Product has undergone various quality checks and is free from assembly or manufacturing defects.

If the Product purchased on the Website has defects of conformity with the Contract, as described above, Inglesina acknowledges the validity of the legal guarantee conditions for a period of 24 consecutive months from the date of delivery of the Product.

This legal guarantee is valid only for the first owner of the purchased Product.

This legal guarantee is reserved for Customers who have purchased Products on the Website for purposes unrelated to any business, commercial, craft or professional activity. Those who have purchased on the Website but do not qualify as Customers shall be subject to the warranty for defects in the sold item, the warranty for lack of promised and essential qualities, and the other warranties provided for by the Italian Civil Code, with the relevant terms, forfeitures and limitations.

Where the legal guarantee applies, the Customer is entitled to have the conformity of the goods restored free of charge, by replacement or free repair of the Product, or, where this is not possible, to a proportional reduction of the purchase price or termination of the Contract. Inglesina reserves the right, in accordance with applicable law, to decide whether to restore the conformity of the Product by repair or replacement.

These guarantee conditions shall cease to apply if:

  • the Product is used for purposes other than those expressly provided for in the relevant instruction manual or not expressly authorised by the manufacturer;

  • the Product has been repaired at unauthorised or non-affiliated service centres;

  • the Product has been modified and/or tampered with, either in its structural or textile parts, without the manufacturer’s express authorisation. Any modification made to the Product releases Inglesina from any liability;

  • the defect is due to negligence or carelessness in use, such as violent impacts to structural parts, exposure to aggressive chemicals, and similar circumstances;

  • the Product shows normal wear and tear, such as wheels, moving parts or fabrics, resulting from expected daily, prolonged and continuous use;

  • the Product has been damaged, even accidentally, by the owner or by third parties, for example where it is shipped as luggage by air transport or by other means;

  • the Product has been damaged due to the use of accessories not supplied and/or not approved by Inglesina.

To benefit from the guarantee, the Customer must provide the Product serial number, a copy of the Order Receipt Confirmation and/or delivery note, or another document proving the purchase date and delivery date.

After expiry of the guarantee period, Inglesina will in any event provide paid assistance for the Products within a maximum period of four (4) years from the date on which they were placed on the market. After this period, the possibility of intervention will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

In order to improve its products, Inglesina reserves the right to update and/or modify any technical or aesthetic detail without prior notice.

This guarantee does not affect the rights granted to the consumer by applicable national legislation, whose mandatory provisions shall prevail over these guarantee conditions.

To activate a guarantee intervention, the Customer may contact Inglesina through the following website:
https://www.inglesina.com/pages/contacts

The Customer must provide the Product Serial Number, a copy of the proof of purchase, and a photograph/video of the defect found.

7. Payments

Payment of the Product prices and any shipping costs must be made exclusively to Inglesina using the methods provided for in the order process, in euros.

The entire payment process will be handled securely by Scalapay, PayPal or Shopify. Consequently, Inglesina will not process or record any sensitive payment information, such as the full credit card number or security code.

Visa©, MasterCard© and American Express© credit cards are accepted.

At the time of payment, the Customer will access an external server operating in secure mode.

In this way, the Customer’s transaction will be carried out in accordance with banking security standards. By entering the credit card number on the Website, the Customer unconditionally and in advance accepts that Shopify may process the transaction, including pre-authorisation, and authorises the Customer’s bank to debit the account even without signed receipts from the cardholder.

If the Scalapay platform is used, payment of the amount due will be divided into 3 or 4 instalments, with no additional cost charged to the Customer.

If the PayPal platform is used for payment, the Customer must log in to his or her PayPal account using the relevant access credentials and password. If the Customer does not have a PayPal account, one may be created at that time. After validating the order through PayPal, the Customer will be redirected to the confirmation page on the Website.

The Products will be shipped only after receipt of payment of the amount indicated in the Order Receipt Confirmation has been verified.

8. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

In accordance with Articles 52 et seq. of the Italian Consumer Code, the Customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide explanations and without any penalty, within the terms and according to the procedures set out below.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must communicate his or her decision to Inglesina within 14 days from the date of receipt of the purchased Products, providing all of the following information:

  • the Customer’s name, surname and address;

  • the intention to exercise the right of withdrawal;

  • the order number and date, as shown in the Order Receipt Confirmation e-mail;

  • the indication of the Product for which the right of withdrawal is being exercised;

  • the date of receipt of the Product for which the right of withdrawal is being exercised.

The withdrawal notice may be sent through the website:
https://www.inglesina.com/pages/returns-and-refunds

or by e-mail to:
ecommerce.it@inglesina.com

The Customer may also use the withdrawal form included at the end of these GTC.

Once the withdrawal notice has been received, Inglesina, after verifying compliance with the time limits for exercising the right of withdrawal, will send the Customer an e-mail confirming receipt of the notice, the procedure to be followed for returning the Products, and the address to which the returned Product must be sent.

The returned Product must be perfectly intact, clean and repackaged in its original packaging, complete in all its parts, including the Product packaging and accessory documentation.

The Product will be examined to assess any damage or tampering resulting from use other than that necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and functioning. Assembly of the Product and testing of the Product inside the home are considered appropriate.

If the right of withdrawal is exercised in accordance with the procedures described above, Inglesina will refund to the Customer all amounts paid by the Customer, including any delivery costs for the Products, within 14 days of receipt of the withdrawal notice sent by the Customer.

Inglesina reserves the right to withhold the refund until the returned Products have been received or until the Customer has provided evidence that the Products have been sent back.

Inglesina will refund the sums paid to the person who made the payment, identified as the holder of the credit card used for the purchase or as the holder of the PayPal account, using the same means of payment used by the Customer for the initial transaction.

The shipping costs for the returned Product shall be borne by the Customer. Inglesina may make available the possibility of collecting the Product through a courier directly from the address indicated by the Customer. The cost of this service will be communicated in the e-mail confirming receipt of the withdrawal notice. If confirmed by the Customer, this cost will be deducted from the total refund amount.

In the event of damage, tampering or unsuitable use of the Product, the Customer shall be liable for the decrease in value of the Product. In such case, Inglesina may deduct from the refund due an amount equal to the decrease in value of the Product.

In consideration of the particular characteristics of the Products, the right of withdrawal applies exclusively to the Product purchased in its entirety. It is not possible to exercise withdrawal only in relation to one or more parts of the purchased Product. For example, in the case of purchase of a System Quattro, the entire System Quattro must be returned and not only one of its components, such as the carrycot. In the case of Orders including several Products, for example a System Quattro and a baby swing, withdrawal may be exercised in relation to one or more Products in the Order, specifying all the information listed above.

9. Improvements and Changes to Products

The essential characteristics of the Products are indicated on the Website on each Product detail page. However, the images and colours of the Products offered for sale may not correspond to the actual ones due to the Internet browser and monitor used.

Therefore, without prejudice to the right of withdrawal referred to in section 8 above, the Customer may not raise any objection against Inglesina if the delivered Product and/or its packaging do not match the image of the Product shown on the Website in terms of colours, shape or dimensions.

Inglesina also reserves the right to make any improvements and changes to its Products, including aesthetic changes, that it considers appropriate or necessary.

10. Dispute Resolution

These GTC and the individual orders are governed by Italian law, without prejudice to any mandatory rights that the Customer, as a consumer, may have under the law of the country of his or her habitual residence, including, where applicable, the Republic of Finland.

For all civil disputes arising from the performance and interpretation of the contractual relationship established through the online purchase of Products via the Website, the jurisdiction of the court of the place of residence or domicile of the Customer shall apply where such jurisdiction is mandatory under applicable consumer protection rules.

As a first step, the Customer may contact Inglesina in order to attempt an amicable resolution of the dispute.

Since the European Online Dispute Resolution platform, the so-called ODR platform, has been closed since 20 July 2025, the Customer may obtain information on consumer redress options through the European Commission consumer redress pages:
https://consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu/

Customers in the Republic of Finland may also obtain information about consumer dispute resolution through the official Finnish Consumer Disputes Board:
https://www.kuluttajariita.fi/en/

11. Final Provisions

Any service disruptions due to malfunctioning of the portal shall not be attributable to Inglesina, except in cases provided for by applicable law.

If any contractual provision contained in these General Terms and Conditions of Sale is found to be invalid or null and void, this shall not affect the validity of the other provisions, which shall remain valid and effective.

The conditions contained in this document may be amended without prior notice and shall apply to all orders placed after their publication.
